You're concerned about this conflicting with going shopping with Julia, but figure you'll cross that bridge when you come to it. "Sounds good," you reply.

The rest of the drive home is uneventful and you're looking forward to bathing when you arrive. As soon as you arrive home, you head to your room to use the bathroom and clean yourself up.

You sit down on the toilet and urinate, reflecting on the little oddities of being a girl. You then draw a bath and immerse yourself for about twenty minutes.

You decide to relax a bit and choose an old sweatsuit to put on. As you're getting dressed, there's a knock on the door. "Who is it?" you say.

"It's me, Parker," comes the voice from behind the door which you instantly recognize as your mother's. With the events of the day, you'd forgotten all about her coming home today. It would be rude not to answer so you say, "Just a minute" and finish dressing.
