After bridge club

The rest of the afternoon was spent with card playing and gossip. It seemed to you that your little talk with Carol had paid off. What you didn't know was that Carol had assured her friends that yes, you’d be going on their blind dates and yes, she’d make sure you went to their places to meet their eligible bachelor friends over dinner.

The longer the day went on, the more you wanted out of the girdle and bullet bra. None of the ladies seemed to mind them, so you tried hard not to squirm or pull at the waistband.

When the club broke up, the ladies all said farewell to you, hoping you’d join them next week. Of course, Carol said that you’d be there and that you were joining bridge club. You tried to stop that, because if this was your day off, you didn’t want to have to spend it in girdles, gossiping and playing cards. You needed to work on the time machine! But Carol would hear none of it and soon the ladies were deciding who was going to be your bridge partner.

Defeated, Carol jabbered non-stop as she drove you home. Not wanting you to spend the rest of the evening alone, she invited you over for dinner (which she made you help cook) and some TV.

Your feet were killing you as you got back to the house. Nothing had felt so good as taking off that girdle!

You slept like a rock that evening. Waking up, you got dressed for work in one of your new dresses. As usual, Madge showed up and drive you to work. Eleanor smiled broadly at you as you walked into the salon.

“I hear you were quite the dancing beauty the other night.”

“Well,” you started to explain, “Carol took me shopping...”

“I know. She told me. Now Erica, our clients judge ya on our appearance. If we look unkempt, why would they trust us to make them look beautiful?”

“Uh...”

“So I expect you to show up to work looking your feminine best. In fact...” she grabbed your chin and turned your head from side to side.
