After becoming Miss Universe

Happier, that was a word that you and Pia used to describe your lives together. Happier, because you both were with each other.

Through her role of being an icon around not only in the nation, but to the whole entire world if done right, demanded invested time and knowledge as well as spurts of wisdom here and there (or if lazy, superficial advice as that was always an option). Personal time has always been restricted for the first few months of becoming Miss Universe, and even more so even after the hype ended as Pia was active in trying to push for an agenda, for the betterment of the country.

But after a year or two, both of you were now ready for a vacation, one that was needed and long overdue. As you pack your bags with Pia teasing you through showing off her multiple pairs of underwear and bikinis (which are probably all going to be destroyed during the trip) and a quickie while waiting for the Uber - which admittedly, due to the long waiting time, was either one short session or multiple quickies, much to the demise of one pair of underwear.

Arriving at NAIA and once at the plane, sitting next to each other, you drifted off to sleep with a pillow wrapped around your neck before visions of the beach days ahead of you came to mind.
