Admits the truth (she’s not far)

Hana blushes a little embarrassed. “I’m only two chapters in...” she admits. Nanami just smiles at her, but it’s a slightly unnerving smile, as though she knows something Hana doesn’t.

“You’re not very far then.” Nanami says in reply, but somehow it doesn’t sound like a critique coming from her, she’s just stating fact.

“No...” Hana admits again.

“I can understand why you may not have wanted to discuss it with the others yet then.” Nanami locks eyes with Hana for a moment, like she understands. Then the kettle finishes boiling and she fills the teapot with hot water.

“Maybe we could do some reading as a group to help you catch up?” Nanami offers.
