Adam receives a call.

As Adam entered the building his cell phone started ringing; naturally he answered it.

"Adam, it's Joan. I'm sorry for interrupting your breakfast..."

"Actually, I'm at the office," he commented, a tad confused.

"That eager to spend time with your super-busty new secretary, huh?" Joan replied, a her tone implying a smirk.

Adam was about to deny this, then suddenly realized that Joan might be correct. Even with the traffic, the detour, and Erin's inability to match Audrina's driving skills, he'd still gotten to work over an hour earlier than he normally did. There had been no particular reason he had to rush off as soon as Erin announced she wanted to take him to work; he just had. It seemed that while his conscious mind wanted to avoid Gogo, his subconscious had other ideas. Very, very strong ideas too. He'd thought he'd taken care of his urges for the morning, sating himself with Beth, Yasmine, and Chita. Yet at the thought of Gogo, he felt his lust begin to return. Not as strongly as before, but still there.

"Adam, are you alright?" Joan said, mildly concerned at the length of the pause in their conversation.

Adam came back to himself. "I'm fine. So, why are you calling?"

"I reserved a table at Tagon's for me, Katie, and Irving to celebrate his coming home. Unfortunately, something came up, he missed his launch, and he's not going to make it home until the evening. I was hoping you could come to lunch with us instead. Afterward, we can go back to the house for...dessert."

"I'd love to," Adam said. "But I have an appointment myself; when's the reservation for?"

"Five to twelve" Joan responded promptly.

"Then I'll be there," Adam declared.
