Accept your fate

You decide that you want to try to demonstrate that you have accepted your fate, but you still have been brought here to ask questions. Perhaps you can ask a question that shows your acceptance.

"I have only one question, Sir," you say, trying to make your voice more confident than you feel. "What can I do to become the very best **** I can possibly be as quickly as possible?"

There is silence from the darkness for an uncomfortably long time. Then, finally, the sound of your Lord's voice breaks the silence.

"That is a very good start, ****," He says. "In fact--and don't get too cocky, because you still have a long way to go and none of it will be easy--that is probably the single best thing a **** in your position has ever said."

The surrounding darkness diminishes as lights brighten from above, and you see that the room you are in is a large metal-walled chamber. Your Lord is sitting in a large, comfortable chair about 20 feet ahead of you.

"I will answer your question now, ****," your Lord says. "Worship Me. Worship my Son. There should be nothing on your mind, ever, but serving Us. Pleasing Us. Immediate and perfect obedience is not enough to be a truly exceptional ****. Immediate and perfect obedience is the minimum expected of all slaves, and when that minimum standard is not met, there will be consequences. To be a truly exceptional ****, you must become an extension of Our will. We should not have to tell you what to do. You should simply know what We want because you never think about anything but Us. How to better serve Us. How to dedicate every subatomic particle of your body to Our service. Do you understand what I am saying, ****?"

"Yes, Sir, at least to the extent I am currently capable of understanding it."

"Another good answer," your Lord says. "But now it is time for the next step of your processing." He waves his hand, and the guard **** comes up from behind you and unfastens the other end of your chain from the bolt in the ground. You hear a mechanical noise above you, and as you look up you see a horizontal metal bar descending from the ceiling. There are shackles hanging from it. The guard **** attaches your chain to the middle of the bar when it gets low enough, then walks off somewhere behind you.

"Now," your Lord says as He stares at you, His expression inscrutable. "Slaves have very few choices, but when they are given choices, those choices matter. You are going to be whipped now," He says, and you hear the sound of a whip cracking behind you. You jump and glance back to see the guard **** holding a long, braided whip. "This is not a punishment. It is conditioning. Part of your processing. But it will be a severe whipping," He says. "Brutal, even."

He lets His words sink in during a long pause, in which He stares at you and you tremble in fear.

"Here is your choice. You can take this whipping while shackled. This, of course, will prevent you from trying to evade it in any way. If you choose to be shackled, I will instruct the **** administering the whipping to make it more harsh, and it will also last longer. Or...you may choose to merely hold onto the bar without the shackles. If you choose this option, the whipping will be both shorter and less severe. However, if you let go of the bar even once, you will be shackled to the bar and the length and severity will both be increased beyond what it would have been had you chosen to be shackled from the beginning."

Your mind races. You know there is no evading the whipping. A part of you even feels some curiosity about it, and certainly, despite the fear, your cock tingles with a bit of excitement, though it stays limp.

Which is the better choice? Does choosing to be shackled show that you accept you cannot escape? Or does choosing to hold onto the bar without shackles show that you are actively submitting to your fate? But then again...if you choose to take the whipping unshackled, but then let go of the bar, not only will the whipping be more severe, but you will disappoint your Lord and your Master.
