About a month later...

Ren Yamada is jogging to work on a light foggy day when we return to you. You’ve been working out a bit more and are more sure of yourself thanks to Momo’s help. You let her know how you wanted to take control of your powers and not just get rid of them altogether through shady methods like Overhaul’s ****. About two weeks ago, she got in touch with a friend of a friend that used to do R&D for UA, Mei Hatsume to see if she could help control your quirk. Turns out she was more than willing, but she needs to see you in person to know how to help. You wound up deciding to meet her after work today and you’re rather pumped to hopefully get this raging beast of a quirk under a modicum of control.

As you arrive at the coffee shop, you see Fuuzoku beat you there and is already inside and getting ready for the day. You two wound up watching the All Might movie another day, and while it wasn’t all that good, it was still a fun evening. You hit the shower in the back room to freshen up a bit before you change into a more professional ensemble of a beige dress shirt, black slacks, and brown loafers.

You get the usual morning rush of people on their way to work or coming home from the night shift with the occasional regular you exchange quick pleasantries with, offering a hearty congratulations when you hear that one’s wife had a baby. As the hours start to wax on in the day, the morning rush slowly pewters out and you get a second to breathe...or so you think.
