"Alright Sue, this is important I need you to keep this quiet." Brenda said as she looked her best friend in the eyes with a serious stare. Sue nodded, this wasn't the first time she had to keep a secret and it wouldn't be the last.

And I'm not proud of it nor did I want it to happen, but it did." her voice trembled both with fear of how her friend would respond and a sort of excited relieve from putting it out there instead of holding it all in. "Tarquin got into a fight, and as he... comforted himself and then one thing led to another and I helped him."

"What do you mean comforted?" Sue said raising an eyebrow at the strange statement.

"Exactly what you're thinking of..." "WHAT?" Sue interrupted "You had sex with your son?!" "NO!" Brenda continued, "of course not! He was masturbating and I helped him with it. Top half only!"

Sue started pacing back and forth, clearly trying to process all the new information. "Alright, that's a lot to take in." "There is a little more..." Brenda said, causing Sue to stop in her track, sigh heavily and then continue pacing as she signalling for her friend to continue. "Look, you told me this to get my input on the situation" Sue continued, still pacing. "I would say you have two choices. One, get out. End it as soon as possible and PRAY TO GOD that you can go back to a healthy relationship with your son..." a short pause, Sue took a deep breath. "OR two, enjoy it while it lasts and see how fucked up your son can get. And make sure nobody finds out ESPECIALLY not Arnold and Spencer!"

Brenda went over her friends advice in her head, and although she tried to think of the first of her two options as viable, her mind was made up faster than she expected. Then she said "I'll go with option two" with a quick nod, "it'll be fine right?"

After a moment of silence, Brenda looking at the myriad of different facial expressions Sue's face was switching between as she was think about the situation. Suddenly she stopped, walked up to Brenda, looked her straight in her eyes and said "Was it good at least?" Brenda was surprised by the question, but a smirk grew on her face. At that moment the door opened and an older woman walked in, sees the two of them hugging and makes an awkward cough. The surprise of the unexpected noise causes Brenda and Sue to jump apart, gather their things and exit the bathroom.

Retaking their seats at the table both Brenda and Sue instantly realize that they interrupted a conversation between the two husbands that they seem **** to continue now that the ladies had rejoined the dinner.
