Abigail's up first!

The bottle slowed to a halt in front of Abby and she went red from head to toe. Gemma had a hungry look in her eyes that made her feel like prey.

"Truth or dare?" Gemma asked.

"Truth!" Abigail blurted immediately. There was no way, NO WAY, that she would accept any sort of dare from Gemma Georgian. Certainly not while she was so close to sober. She would never have the guts for it! That would be suicide, with how her devious mind worked.

Gemma rolled her eyes. "Of course," she said. "Whatever. How old were you when you lost your virginity?" She watched Abigail like a hawk.

Abigail thought carefully. No one would believe her if she said too low a number... but she refused to tell the truth now, either. Even Matilda didn't know the truth. She had already taken too long to answer, and their eyes were on her, watching, beginning to suspect. She blurted out the first number that came to mind. "I was sixteen!" she said. She was bright red.

"Oh yeah?" Gemma said. "Who with?"

Abigail was getting redder by the second. She was no good at lying. If only her cousin Alyssa wasn't sitting there she could have named names, even though she had never done anything with them! "Uh, there was, uh," she stammered. "There was a boy that went to our sister school," she said. "M-Michael. We... we had sex on his yacht d-during suh-summer vacation."

The look on Gemma's face told Abigail that she didn't believe a word that had been spoken. But apparently Gemma also didn't care enough to ask any further questions. She pushed the bottle toward Abby.

"You're up," she said.

Abby spun the bottle as hard as she could. It slowed to a stop in front of Megumi, the Japanese girl who had just started at St. Emilia's that year. She lit up like a lightbulb when the bottle landed in front of her, eyes going wide, and she clapped in delight.

"Oh, awesome!" she said. "I pick truth!"
