James glared out the passengers window as the rolling hills of the country side flew by as his mother drove down the country road. It wasn't his fault that he ruined the school homecoming dance, honestly! It was because of Caroline and her gang of football players that lead to him spilling his drink over the wires, not to mention the dozen or so pranks and **** she pulled on him over the senior year.

His mother didn't care about his protects at all. What made it worse is that she loved Caroline and was dear friends with her mother, the CEO of a muli chain business. James didn't understand why Caroline was seen as an angel and him the rudy boy. She was little miss perfect, beautiful smart and so out of his league.

"James." He jumped at his name from the clip tone from his mother. "It pains me to do this to you but you must understand why what you did was wrong. Just because you were having a fight with Caroline doesn't mean you can ruin everyone elses. "

"I didn't!"

"Silence young man! This is the results of upsetting the entire senior year. I am embarrassed to say that if it wasn't for her and her mother, my boss, you would have to finish your education at least a time zone away!" James mom drummed her manicured fingers on the steering wheel. "Just because I've been seeing her mother doesn't mean you can take out your frustrations on the poor girl."

James rolled his eyes. "I am not against your relationship mom."

"I wish I could believe you."

Silence filled the car as she turned onto the path leading to the abby. In the distance James could see the matron of the Abby waiting along with two other figures. So distracted with the looming figues and abby he did non hear his mother speak.

"I hope you'll turn out wonderful for Caroline."
