She is still a little mad because you had an interest in Karen but loosens up some when you point out you chose her and that you respect her brains as well as her beauty. You get a beer and she gets some wine. You are both trying to find someplace quiet to talk. You tell her your uncle lets you crash at his place and he is out of town. She thinks you should stay here and sit and talk in one of your vehicles while you wait for your respective passengers.

You decide to leave your van for Joe or Bobby after telling them to get Tom and Karen before they go. You and Amber get her car out. The keys were in the ashtray of the offending vehicle. You drive out the offending car while Amber gets her car out to the road. You re-park the borrowed vehicle and go to Amber's car. She has moved over to the passenger side, wanting you to drive. You and Amber go to your uncle's house. You both fall asleep across from each other on the couch, sometime after four in the morning. Joe returns your van with Bobby, Tom, and Karen at seven in the morning. The girls go home in Amber's car. You go home to your mom's house after dropping off Tom and Joe. Bobby lives next door to you.
