A week as Katie

"So, how long do I have to be Katie?" you ask. Though the pain from the **** has subsided, you still feel embarrassed and ashamed of it. You'd like nothing more than to forget this whole thing ever happened, but staying in Katie's body makes it impossible.

"Judging by the size of the bruises, they should go away in a week," Jessica explains. "You'll have to be her for that long so she doesn't have to ask about them when she wakes up."

Though you nod to Jessica in understanding, you inwardly groan over the prospect of having to stay in this body because of what Jimmy did. You then realize that you have to make an excuse to ensure that your own parents and Jimmy's don't get suspicious about anything. Suddenly, you remember that you and Jimmy were supposed to go on a week-long camping trip tomorrow. You figure that neither your parents nor Jimmy's will suspect anything if you decided to start the trip a day early.

You strip off Katie's skin for a moment, telling Jessica that you have to make sure your parents don't come looking for you. Taking your cell phone, you call your mom and explain that you and Jimmy wanted to leave for the campsite early. Your mom doesn't give you a hard time over this decision, saying that she'll be glad to have you out of the house for a while.

Now, you glance at the Jimmy skin that's still hanging nearby. You know that there's no way the real Jimmy would go along with your plan, but you remember that he doesn't have to like it. You climb into the skin, and it soon becomes your own. You comment briefly to Jessica that becoming another guy feels different than becoming Katie was. At the mention of Katie's name, Jimmy's instincts seem to kick in a bit, and both of you can tell how. Evidently, Jimmy's desires still have a hold on his body, though you ignore it for the time being. You take Jimmy's phone and call his home. His mom picks up and gives you a bit of a harder time than your own mother did. Though initially unsure how to best respond, you eventually succeed in assuaging her fears.

Once that is done, you eagerly get out of Jimmy's skin, not wanting to stay for a second longer in the body of your former friend. It's time to hide the magnitude of his actions by returning to Katie's body. You put on her skin, and you see your legs becoming hers. As the rest of the changes unfold, you then ask Jessica how you two are going to spend the week.
