A wager

Misaka Mikoto will challenge Touma Kamijou to a fight. She will give ownership of herself up as the prize should Touma win.

With that, Touma returned the pencil and notebook to his bag. Standing up, he nervously walked towards the entrance of the alley. If this worked, I can make her stop chasing after me, he thought, trying to assure himself. And if it doesn't work, I just have to run away again.

Slowly, he made his way to the street. As soon as he stepped out, he was spotted.

"There you are!" Misaka exclaimed pointing at him.

"Look," Touma began. "I'd rather not fight you, so if you coul..."

"Then what if we made a little wager?" Misaka interrupted.

That's new, Touma thought in surprise. Normally, she would just pester me until either I gave in or I escaped.

"Wh...what kind of wage?" Touma asked anxiously.

"It's simple," Misaka began as she place her hands on her hips. "If I beat you, you will have to do everything I say. And if you win..."

Misaka paused for a moment as her face flushed up. "Th...then I have to obey everything you say," she said quietly before recomposing herself. "But that's not going to happen! I'm going to beat you for sure!"
