A visitor

Honeywood allowed prisoners visitors in alternating tranches - half the prisoners got visitors every Saturday, and the other half every Wednesday. Carrie and Lisa were lucky enough to both get the Saturday tranche, which meant they could get more mutual friends than they otherwise could. Since they had been some of the most popular girls in their high school, these were abundant as well-wishers poured in to offer their condolences, not to mention their parents and lawyers hoping to commute their sentences.

One day, however, they would receive someone rather unexpected.
