A visitor approaches

Sunday, July 5th

As Madelynn lay on her rug on the quad, sunbathing and daydreaming, she was unaware of the many sets of eyes that admired her glorious form as she lay there. Among them, Luuk was one. However instead of just staring from a distance, he walked over to his neighbour.

"Howdy neighbour, as you'd put it" he said.

Putting her hand over her eyes to create a shadow, Madelynn looked up at her visitor. "Hey Luuk!" came the response, a friendly smile on her face.

"Getting some sun in while it lasts huh?"

-"Yea, you never know how long it'll last" she replied.

"Oh I know, it's 32 degrees right now, tomorrow it could be freezing. I hate this country when it comes to the weather."

-"Oh really, you too?"

"Yea, definitely. It gets way too hot in summer!" he replied. As if to back up his point, Madelynn noticed the sweat on his brow.

-"Oh come on, it's not that hot"

"I disagree" Luuk said, looking over Madelynn from head to toes. A lusty gaze apparent in his eyes. "It's very hot here, and it's not just the sun" he continued.

-"Huh... Is that so?" Madelynn asked with a raised eyebrow. "What makes it so hot then?" she inquired.

"You of course" he says as he winks at her.

-"Why thank you. You're keen on giving compliments aren't you?" she replies.

"Only when they're justified."

-"Are you sure it's not just a lingering thought from the party?"

"Oh it definitely has to do with that, I will never forget that." he laughed. In the meantime Luuk sat down next to Madelynn. "Even though we had our fun that night..."

-"Not as much fun as you were hoping for, right?" Madelynn interrupted him. Her face equipped with a mischievous smile.

"As I was saying, even though we had our fun that night" Luuk conintiued, "I feel like we still have a lot of getting to know each other to do. Wanna hang out?"

Madelynn made a face as if she was seriously thinking about it, debating wether that would be a good idea or not. Eventually she simply said "Sure, let's hang out". Luuk's face betrayed a feeling of satisfaction.

"Let's grab a drink in the campus bar?"
