Chapter 33 by DangerSloth
What do you see when you return?
A very unhappy Tsunade.
When I entered her office, Tsunade was rubbing her temples. Something had pissed her off. My face grew hot thinking about it.
"Today has just been too much," said Tsunade. I shook my head, too afraid to answer. She was going to kill me.
"I'm sorry," I said, "I know I contributed greatly to that." Tsunade laughed, and opened her eyes to look at me.
"Calm down," said Tsunade, "it was that slimy Minato." Oh thank god, but wait! What did he do? "That guy is the worlds biggest sleazeball. He was doing whatever he could to go on mission with Hinata. He will never go on a mission as long as I am alive." Tsunade shook her head. Her words made me feel much better about what I had just done to Kushina.
"You want to really piss him off, his wife wants to go on missions," I said, "send her on some instead." Tsunade considered it for a moment, and laughed.
"Enough about that," said Tsunade. Tsunade's expression changed, and she placed her hands under her chin looking at me.
"We both know the topic that overshadows today," said Tsunade. We did. "I've thought long and hard, and." Tsunade began to rub her head.
"And I've come to a decision." I wanted to know what she had to say.
"I care about Shizune greatly," said Tsunade, "so you are to stay with her. And never let her know your feelings about me. it would crush her. " Well, this was what I expected. Actually, I expected disaster so this was better than that.
"but," said Tsunade. Tsunade stood up from the table looking at me with her expression that demanded nothing less than absolute eye contact.
"I would be lying, if I said that I didn't have interest in your pursuits." Tsunade's eyes dropped to my waist suddenly. She stared for a good amount of time, and then her eyes were back on me.
"You sort of interest me, and parts of you interest me as well," said Tsunade, "I like you. And trust you." Tsunade's stare trailed off. I could see that trust was something important to her.
"If you play your cards right," said Tsunade. Tsunade looked down to her chest, and leaned forward just the slightest amount.
"I can offer you, the biggest...prizes." My mouth was watering. I couldn't tear my eyes away, and Tsunade made it even worse when her arms wrapped around her chest and squeezed them. Again Tsunade laughed.
"So by all means, pursue me. Flirt with me. Win me over." Tsunade looked so seductive. She was so confident in herself, and for good reason.
"And if you succeed.. I'll let you do whatever your dirty mind can imagine."
"Now," said Tsunade as I picked up my jaw. She adjusted the scarf around her neck. "Unless you have something else. I have sake with my name on it."
My life was going better than ever. I would have never acted in this way just a few days ago, but now things were just different. It was about time I went back home though. It was getting dark.
