Jeans and a t-shirt

You squeeze into the jeans, noticing with dismay that they seem tighter than usual- they must have shrunk in the wash!

But time is not on your side, so breathing in and managing to struggle your way in and just about do up the zip, your pull the t-shirt over your head and grab a brush to do your hair on the bus.

You sprint out of the house without stopping for breakfast and run for the bus stop...

but too late. Your tight jeans make running difficult, and your body is not used to such strenuous exercise. You reach the stop in time to see the bus disappearing over the hill.

Forlorn, you resign yourself to having to walk all the way.

Suddenly, and car pulls up alongside you. It's Mandy, the most popular girl in school and not someone who's ever shown any interest in you before, unless it's to tease you. She leans out of the window with a bright smile.

"Hey!" she calls. "Miss the bus? I'll give you a ride, hop in!"
