"Guys? A little help?" She asked, suspended in the air by bands of mass effect fields arond her wrists, shoulders and ankles. A deliciously cruel reflection of how Shepard and Kaidan had met their asari archaeologist.

"Kasumi, always a pleasure." Shepard smirked up at the helpless Japanese thief.

"Think you could let me down, Shep?" Kasumi asked sheepishly. "I'm beginning to think tomb raiding really isn't my thing."

"Not just yet." Shepard grinned. "I have a lot of questions."

"You and your fucking questions..." Kasumi groaned.

"How'd you find this place?" Shepard asked. "Seems a little remote."

"I may have... put a bug in Liara's system." Kasumi confessed.

"When was this?" Shepard asked.

"I actually got into her network through you. A little something across the data transfer during our last comm session on Earth." Kasumi explained.

"Wait, you were planning a robbery during the final fight in the Reaper invasion?" Shepard said incredulously.

"What can I say? I'm a born thief." Kasumi casually admitted. "Plus, it gave me something to survive the war for."

"As the Shadow Broker, I'm not sure I can let this go unpunished." Liara smiled.

"And as a Spectre, I'm not sure I can ignore your confessions." Kaidan added. "Robbing a prothean site on a protected Council world is a very serious transgression."

"C'mon Shep, let's not do anything rash." Kasumi said, fidgeting in her telekinetic restraints.

"Though... I have been brought in by uglier officers." The slender cat burglar admitted, eyeing up Kaidan's muscular frame.

"You get your hands on anything yet?" Shepard asked.

"Nothing." Kasumi insisted. "I walk into this room and boom! I'm hanging from the ceiling like a pinata."

"Prothean ruins tend to be extensively booby-trapped. The old Empire was merciless in defending it's treasures." Liara notes.

"Hey, we've met a Prothean." Kasumi interjected. "This seems pretty merciful by his standards!"

"Alright, I've heard enough." Shepard decided.

"Fantastic." Kasumi smiled. "I got sick of this about sixteen hours ago."

"Not so fast, Goto." Shepard smiled. "I didn't say I was gonna let you go."

Shepard looked at Kaidan and Liara. Her lovers smiled mischeviously back at her.
