A tunnel that wailed

Nora{if Roxxy is alive = true} and Roxxy walked{else} walked{endif} into a peculiar natural cavern. It was semi-circular, and quite large, with plenty of small cascading waterfalls pouring from one flat pool to another. Blue bioluminescent mushrooms shared space with other underground plants, mosses and fungi. Nora gasped at such natural splendor. {if Roxxy is alive = true}Roxxy was amazed too, though not to the same measure.

"Whoah, look at all these plants!" Roxxy felt one up in her hand, inspecting it's strange biology. Since the sun does not shine down here, the plants have either shrunk their leaves down so much as to be useless, or abandoned them entirely. Nora began to take note of some of them, eager to describe them to some of her biology friends on the surface.{else}

By the waters edge grew fungi that caught Nora's attention. They were different from the other mushrooms. The were a dark pink, and long, some reaching up to a foot or two in length. Each stalk had a cap, with a delicate frill underneath. She wasn't going to pussyfoot around it; they looked like dicks. Still, for whatever reason, they stood out to her as more interesting than anything else growing here.
