A trainer

You continue making your way through the tall grass, defeating wild pokemon along the way and using a potion or two to keep Diglett in good health. It isn’t long before you come across a clearing. In the center, you can see a boy about your age commanding a Rattata. There’s a silent staredown going on between the Rattata and an Abra. After a few seconds, the boy breaks the silence. “Now Rattata!” The Rattata darts forward lightning fast, but not fast enough to keep the Abra from teleporting away. “Tch.”

The boy turns around and notices you and Diglett. “Oh hey, you must be a pokemon trainer. My name’s Joseph. How about a battle?” You’re a little unsure of taking on a battle so soon, but you’ve been handling yourself pretty well, and this will be a good chance to test your mettle before going up against a Gym Leader…

While you’re considering your decision, two girls walk up the path from Cerulean City, and seeing two people facing each other with their pokemon out, they naturally assume that you’re about to battle. “Ooh a pokemon battle!”

Joseph folds his arms across his chest and declares, “That’s right. I was just about to make this chick suck my dick after I wreck her in a battle.” The girls giggle.

You can’t walk away from this now. You’ll accept his challenge and take him down a notch! “My name’s Emilia, and you’re on, kid!”
