A surprise that night

When Dean gets home, he his is met with silence. Of course Brooke is still asleep, and Richard's shoes were gone so he must be gone too. This would give him at least time to set up audio in his room. He take this time to unwind a bit. He makes some food and eats while watching a little tv.

After wasting a little more time sitting on the couch and flipping through channels, he decides to set up and update the cameras he picked up. He sets up a small microphone just inside the door of Richard's room. The cameras would take the rest of the night to set up and hopefully they would be set up for his middle of the night viewings.

He spends the rest of the thinking about everything. Part of him liked what was happening, it was his idea after all. But in the back of his mind he keeps having nagging feelings of doubt. Brooke put on a good act when she was with Richard. When watching sometimes Dean felt like it was real. What if it was? What if this all back fires and he loses Brooke? And why does that thought, even just a little bit, excite him? After a while of thoughts like this, he shakes them off and decides to just go to bed. And after reassuring himself that everything is going, according to the plan, he falls asleep.

Dean wakes up in the middle of the night like usual. This would be the last night Brooke would need to be up all night for work.

Dean grabs his phone phone in one hand, and his other hand moves to his crotch. He opens the cameras and goes straight to her office. To his surprise though, no one was in there. He flips through a couple more before checking the bug in Richard's room. He puts in ear buds and listens in.

The first thing he hears in the distant sound of the shower. He can't tell if they're doing anything. He continues to listen while he can only imagine what Richard was doing to Brooke in the shower. Just as his mind starts to paint a picture he hears a voice.

"Make sure you cover everything." Dean hears Richard shout out. His voice coming from the room and coming in clear. Is Brooke taking a shower in his room by herself? Maybe they just got done having sex and she's washing off? But what did he mean cover everything?

"Come help me make sure I got the back!" Dean hears a muffled Brooke yell from the bathroom. He hears an audible aggravated sigh then the door opening. His head is flooded with questions. He continues to listen for a little while longer but doesn't hear much besides the faint muffled talking he can't make out. After about half an hour, he fades back asleep.
