Knock knock knock.

"Yes?"

Gene and Amy were in the royal office, overseeing some military matters when Keres van Golden, now one of the Empire's best spies, and one of the PIA's more powerful witches, arrived at their door.

"I have an idea for something cool."

"Come on in." Amy invited, getting up to let Keres in. "What's up?" She asked as she closed the door behind her.

Keres sat down in the guest chair in front of the desk. Amy returned to the guest chair she moved to be left of Gene behind the desk.

"So, umm." Keres began, leaning forward, now having the royal couple's attention, but in a more serious tone than she let on when she knocked.

"Gene," She began. "Remember that night when we first met, at your hangout?"

Gene's expression turned down, instantly remembering her cryptic behavior. He was suddenly NOT looking forward to Keres' idea. Amy just sighed and facepalmed.

"I was hoping that wouldn't have to be brought up for a very long while..." Gene commented.

"I know, hun. Me too. Me too..." Keres admitted, looking doen for a moment before looking again at the couple. "But while I gotta do this sooner than expected, it will set into motion an extremely long series of personal events that need to be timed just right for me to meet y'all again on scedule in fifty thousand years or so."

"... Okay." The King acknowledged.

"Now here's the fun part." Keres continued, smiling, knowing the royal couple will be pleased by this. "It's not all dreadfully dreary, because you two will be able to satisfy some schadenfreude from these next bits."

Gene and Amy perked up from this.

"As you already know, the Americans have been trying to snatch some cyber documents from us for an FTL probe they have in mind."

"Yeah." The royal couple acknowledged and nodded.

"The first part I have in mind, that we tailor some fake documents to leak, using entirely different and Americanized designs than what we actually used for our FTL, requiring no magic at all."

Again, the couple acknowledged.

"Once they have the designs, they'll be able to finish construction on their probe, named 'Anglada-Escude' after the discoverers of Proxima B. They will be able to launch it a month or two from now, and send it off to Alpha Centauri to explore the system." Keres magically procured a sketch of the design from thin air, pointing at the communications antenna.

"Once it gets back, we damage it's communications antenna, which will **** the US to try to recover it, but since by then no American ship will be close enough to recover it, so they will go around asking someone to get it for them."

"I'm kiiiiiind of liking it so far," Amy began. "But what is the intent behind all of this?"

"Weeeeeell," Keres hesitated, but relented, knowing she needed the heads of the military for the rest of this. "Call up Jessica and Jenny. They're both gonna want to hear this."

Amy rolled her eyes in annoyance and called up the heads of both the Human and Supernatural branches of the Military. Within a minute they both came knocking. Once they were let in, Keres rehashed what she went through with the royal couple to Jessica Plutonii and werewolf/human hybrid Jenny Plutonii, the daughter of Jessica and Eric Plutonii, and who had just graduated New Denver Armed Forces Academy; now head of the human branch of the military. Jessica was brunette, and smooooooking hot, both conventionally and appealling to Gene's tastes. Unbeknownst to Gene, Jenny was saving herself for him, of her own free will, wondering when the hottest, most powerful man of the land would notice her. Keres continued revealing her idea. Once Keres admitted the whole thing was to bait the US into a war, they all immediately latched on, itching for the Empire to punish another country for its sins.

The downside was, to fabricate a claim, Keres admitted she would have to sacrifice herself for the plan, in order for her future lifetimes to plan out as hoped. Specifically, the Empire would steal the Anglada-Escude once the Americans would start asking around for other space agencies for help in retrieving the probe. Current scheduling trends had American spacecraft still in the middle of loooooong transit times between mainly Earth, the Moon, and Mars by the time the American probe came back from humanity's first interstellar mission. This act would further inflame tensions, riling Americans up enough to act out violent fantasies against Plutonians.

The part that involved Keres had her moving to Saint Cloud, Minnesota, one of the more resilient, high functioning rural-ish cities standing out from the post-apocalyptic world. Saint Cloud was chosen specifically due to its high levels of random police ****, and as such, high distrust of America's fascist regime. Keres would spend several weeks befriending neighbors, so that once she was killed, further distrust in the regime could be sowed. This would be the claim the TPE could use to lure the regime into responding harshly enough to trigger war, no matter who declared first.

Right then and there, Amy and Jessica very sternly reminded Gene of how pissed everyone was at him for nuclear carpetbombing all of Saudi Arabia and to use far fewer nukes this time, targetting only the important shit. Jenny felt mildly turned on by Gene's awkward hunching in embarassment. She momentarly smirked before focusing her attention back on the here now. For the next hour or so, they worked out on a basic plant of action for the future war itself.

Within weeks, Keres had tearful goodbyes with the cliques and Leokadia as she departed for the US.
