A sticky note placed on the side of the monitor reads: At the Conway estate. Back at the office in a few hours.

Emmy didn't have a few hours. She needed those files now and as such, is was best she drove up to the estate herself and get them from Alan. She sent a message on the office messenger app, informing her boss she was going out now to retrieve the files. She left Alan a voice message, letting him know she was headed his way to get the files. She quickly grabbed her things and left the office, heading down to the underground parking lot.

As Emmy stepped inside her car, she realized she had another problem. What was the best route to take? This afternoon, traffic would be insane if she took the main road. She could go down the back streets but that part of town had a rather seedy reputation. On the other hand, maybe it's best she takes the highway and hope the construction from yesterday is complete.
