A small unnoticeable one

I reach out and only make a small subtle change. I feel a few observant members of the conciousness feel slight confusion as I merge back in. I think, if anything, I might get out with only a headache.

A world with a twist (or two)

Our protagonist (or more likely Antagonist) finds themself with brief access to the collective conscious, able to make a singular change to every person but themself, but a bigger change will lead to psychic feedback, and unforseen negative consequences. Given unlimited time, can they come up with a viable change to get what they want?
