A silent boy who didn't have any friends.

Quickly Kirsten examined all her options. She had her own friends, but she didn't want to throw away their friendship like that. There was a group of popular girls, so if she picked one of those they would instantly tell each other. There was a group of popular boys, and those would also immediately tell each other. There was however this one guy. This one loner.

His name was Dennis, and he didn't have any friends as far as she knew. He might keep her secret.

Thinking about it she again felt the shock of showing herself like this to an old classmate. But this time another feeling joined it. A bit of excitement? No way, she wasn't excited for this.

"His name is Dennis. He is from my class but he never really spoke to me."

"Do you have his number?" Sarah asked Kirsten.

She nodded in response and shared the phone number with Sarah. She left to her office to call him which left Kirsten all alone in the main area waiting for the indirect response. She wondered what Sarah would say to lure him here. Hopefully not too far from the truth.
