A princess becomes queen

The princess bowed and humbled herself before the barbarian chieftain. "My lord does not have to worry about his servant's teeth. I will not harm him in any way. The man who now lies dead was a traitor to me and my family. I exacted **** upon him for the honor of my family, and my people. You, my lord, have done me no harm. I choose to serve you of my own free will. I urge my people to do the same, so that we all may live in peace, and rebuild things anew."

The barbarian chieftain looked upon the princess in wonder. There was something about her he hadn't noticed before. "I had expected you to be spoiled, arrogant, and hard to break. But I see now that I've misjudged you. Your words are wise, and your courage is great." He took Princess Cheng by the hand. "Rise. You will no longer be the princess of a failing dynasty. You shall be the queen of a brand new age."

The princess looked into the eyes of the barbarian chieftain. "I am not worthy to be queen. My lord has determined rightly that I am spoiled, arrogant, and impossible to deal with at times. It took this incident to show me that. I do not wish to return to the path I was on. If I became queen, I would be afraid the lesson I have learned this day would be lost."

The barbarian chieftain caressed the princess' face. He kissed, and held her close. "You need not worry about any lessons being lost. I am here to remind you of them. Believe me, I will remind you, too. Our marriage would only serve to strengthen both our peoples. remember, I can always punish you into saying yes. Which do you prefer?"

"Very well" said the princess. "I will marry you, and become your queen."
