A phone call

Just when I'm thinking about what I'm going to do with the rest of my day I get a phone call the one I've been dreading. Looking at the caller I.D I confirm what I already knew. It's Chloe picking it up I answer it.

"What do you want Chloe" I say coldly.

"Kyle please don't be mad it wasn't what it looked like there's things I didn't tell you" she says pleading.

"Chloe you broke my heart. I mean..... Your fucking brother really and the needle....... When we first met you lied about never having had a boyfriend but I accepted that. You lied about your **** history and I accepted that. But lying straight to my face every day for how long? saying that I'm the only one for you that you would never cheat. how could I ever accept that". I say coldly

Silence immediately fills the air the second after the last venomous words leave my mouth. After a minute of silence she speaks again.

"Kyle please just do me this one favor and meet me at the clubhouse this afternoon. If you really want nothing to do with me if you hate me that much then don't show but if you want an explanation if you still love me even a little bit then show up please".

"I'll think about it". I say as I hang up.
