A nosey reporter

Reading the information provided it seems a reporter for the local TV station Channel 9 has somehow come across information that a local business is in fact a front for something illegal, in this case narcotics. The manager is one Derrick Preston a low level regional manager in the company, a stupid man who is very ambitious yet lacking any real skill to go further in the company. He has used the companies import and export channels to bring in large amounts of different narcotics into the country at the various places he is responsible for managing. He is then selling it on to local dealers for large amounts of money in an attempt to show he can do better while lining his pockets. It seems the company allows personal projects to go on but the people are warned by the company not to over do it or to get caught, yet over three years ago he was almost caught doing the same thing. The company bailed him out then and warned him not to slip up again yet he has somehow let a report gain enough information that she can actually cause problems for the company as a whole, not just the areas he controls.

Sighing this is a little bit of a sticky situation, on one hand Mr Preston needs to be dealt with in some way along with his network of drug dealers, the others inside the company like him need a warning not to over do it for sure and normally he would be killed or demoted and his business's folded up and new covers put in place. Unfortunately the reporter possibly has a lot of information that could lead the authorities to things they should not be able to find, that in turn could lead them to something else and so on and so on. She would normally just be removed in some way an accident, brought off or disgraced in some form but after you took control you made it clear this sort of thing was only to be decided by you.

Reading more and more information you have to agree with Tory's assessment that it is clear the reporter has a source or sources in one or more of the companies Mr Preston is using, one which has access to levels of information above the norm, which in turn limits the options of who it could be. The worst case is if it is more then one person as that will take more time to deal with, best case is it is only one person, yet if it is a single person they should be somebody already vetted by the company so this sort of thing would not happen. " Tory get me a car I have the address of the reporter from her information, I am going to have to bring her over to be sure we can sort this out, oh and have Mr Blue get ready to bring Mr Preston to the main office once we find just how much this reporter knows and who her sources are. Mr Preston will be taking the fall for this so we need to make sure he is alive no matter what, we may need him to confess to the whole operation for the police if it has reached that stage". First you need to bring the reporter over to find who her source is then you have to find out who else knows this information and last but not the end of it you will then have to work out how to stop this from happening again as really you do not want to run a multi billion dollar empire of this kind but need it to find out just what is going on with your body right now.
