A new horde is coming!

In the distance you can she the unmistakable sight of a second great horde. They're highlighted all across the horizon by the last vestiges of fading orange sunlight.

Shit! You need to get the hell out of there! You can make it but only if you hurry. You sprint back to the jeep, grabbing what you can along the way. As soon as the gas tanks are full, you climb in and gun it, speeding down the road.

The entire world has gone silent. Suk-Ling stares ahead, wordlessly. The only noise is the purr of the engine and the occasional crackling of the tires on the pavement. It seems that wherever you go, the dead seem to follow.

It's not long before the night closes in on you completely. In the distance, you see the light beacons of Fort Michael. They'll need to put them out before the horde arrives. Anxiously you punch it, flooring the pedal. The jeep leaps ahead. You can see the base's outermost walls as they come into view over the rise. Suddenly, a shambler lurches from the ditch and onto the road right in front of you.

You slam on the breaks in an effort to avoid hitting the creature. That works but you start skidding sideways, fishtailing on the road. You can feel yourself losing control of the vehicle. Just as you think you're about to flip, the tires grab hold and you turn away, keeping control after all. You slow down as you pass through the outer perimeter. A squad of soldiers pull the heavy steel gate doors closed behind you.

"Radio forward command! A new horde is coming!" you yell at the soldiers before zipping off towards the base.

You make it in record time, parking the jeep right in front of the Forward Command Center. You enter with your prisoner slung over one shoulder, struggling and mumbling into his gag. Suk-Ling trails close behind. Captain Pacco immediately sees you and approaches.

"What's the situation, Drako? Is there really another horde coming?" he says gripping your forearm in his hand.

"Yeah, there is. And it's as big as the first," you say and dump your prisoner on the floor.

"Damn it! I was a fool to hope that there wouldn't be another horde," Captain Pacco exclaims. "Who is this?"

"This here... well, I don't know his name," you say, kicking him harshly in the gut. "But you asked for a prisoner. So here he is."

You watch as the Captain pulls the gag out of the man's mouth, much like you would a swine.

"Tell me, what's your name," Captain Pacco says, folding his arms across his chest.

"Like I'd tell you anything, Infidel!" the prisoner spits.

"Oh, you'll talk. Or I'll leave you to Miss Suk-Ling's tender mercies," you say.

"You... won't get away with this. The Army of Nao will come for me!" the man exclaims as two soldiers drag him off.

"I'm sure they will," Captain Pacco says sarcastically.

"Now what?" you ask.

"Now...? Go home and get some rest. If everything goes according to plan, they'll pass by without noticing us. It'll give us plenty of time to work on your prisoner and make plans. Just keep your radio handy, okay?" Captain Pacco says.

You nod and head back to your jeep, chatting with some of the soldiers about what you just went through. Most of them are worried by the new information you brought in about the new horde. You are just glad to be back in the civilized world. You wonder how Betty and Miki are getting on.

"What about me, sir?" Suk-Ling asks, getting in the geep next to you.

"Miss Suk-Ling, I can drop you off at the refugee office and they'll get you settled into the female dormitory. Or you can come home with me and become my ****," you say.

"Become your ****?" she stammers.

"Yeah. You'll do housework, get tied up and beaten, and be generally used like a sex doll by me and my girlfriend," you explain.

"****... no, Sir... I can't," she says. "That's what they were going to do to me."

"Oh, well I suppose I can see your point of view," you say, pulling in front of the Refugee Office. "If you change your mind, come find me."

"It's really okay that I say no?" she asks.

"Of course. We are a civilized society," you say and wink.

"Thank you," she says sincerely. "And thank you for saving me. I... let me think about it for a few days, okay?"

"Sure thing," you say.

Suk-Ling hops off the jeep and runs towards the building, as you pull away from the curb.

You drive to your apartment building, check in at the front desk, and head on up.
