A new beginning

Darkness, that's all I see; my last memory was the battle with that human, but that can't be, that would mean that I was slain, and yet, I remain.

I don't get much time to dwell on these thoughts before a blinding light overcomes the darkness, unfamiliar sensations fill me, scents I've never smelt, things I've never seen. It takes me a few moments to collect myself, to take in my surroundings. In this time 2 things became abundantly clear. One, I was not home, and two, for some unknown reason I was unable to move.

As I ponder and try to come up with a possible explanation, a sound catches my attention; A sound of pleasure. Despite my limited range of vision I manage to find the source, a few feet from my location, two humans; from what I could smell one female, the other male. The male I recognized instantly, he's the hunter I fought. The female however, I did not, but from the look oflook, it he did.

It didn't take long for me to figure it out, they were mating, an activity I'm all too familiar with.
