Chapter 5 by CorpseKing CorpseKing

Which adventure will we see Shampoo on?

A new Reversal Jewel Arc

In one universe, choices made cause the ruining of plans. This is not that universe....

The first was Cologne realizing no matter what, defeat could snatch victory in any number of ways when Ranma was involved. Which is why she made sure that Mousse was kept ignorant of the Reversal Jewel even as she locked up the young man in duck form as best she could.

The second was the same older Amazon elder realizing that while using the jewel on Shampoo to cause her to hate Ranma enough to cause the boy to chase her great grand-daughter, perhaps the jewel could be used for other things as well. The jewel in one direction where it looked like a frowny face, caused all emotion towards a lover to turn to hate. The opposite direction where the jewel looked like a smiling face, turn all emotions into love for the same lover.

Shampoo showing Ranma hate and rejection, had caused the boy to become focused on the purple haired girl's emotions. To prove his manhood. Focusing his emotions on Shampoo, if he had the jewel, it would either be hate or love depending on how it is placed. Placing it on him might make things easier since in his 'love' state he might follow Shampoo's lead in the romantic path they wanted.

'If I place it on Son-in-law, I can get him to perform an act to further bond him to us. Which will then break when he removes the jewel. Or at least, leave him bonded with us but miserable. Unless I can permanently infuse the magic into Son-in-law permanently. Which means that I need research on the jewel while continuing Shampoo's plot to get Ranma to 'declare' his love for her!' thought the white haired wrinkled woman as she turned to her books... and the phone in the restaurant she had for phoning home.

Does Cologne find the information she wants? Or does she just stick the jewel on Ranma? Or do something else?
