A neat little trick...

You rummage through the clothes in search of something even remotely reasonable to the climate the four of you plan to spend the weekend in. Meanwhile, Claire changes out of the swimsuit and back into her underwear, tossing the swimwear at the back of your head teasingly. After a couple moments, you look under a pile of miniskirts and find a light winter coat and a pair of cheap boots, both with fur lining. Staring at them, you get an idea. You look up to see the shirt and pants she entered the store in draped over the door.

“Hey Claire-bear,” you call to her, using her pet-name from when the two of you used to date (looking back, maybe that name was somehow responsible for your fear of bears…). “I think I may have found something that might actually keep you warm! You must’ve grabbed it by mistake.” You make sure to tease her extra loudly so that she doesn’t hear you as you snatch the clothes from off of the door. Luckily, she’s too caught up in your teasing remarks and doesn’t notice a thing.

“Very funny, douche bag. Do ya want me to try it on or not?”

Smiling, you reply, “Yeah sure. Try these boots with them too…” As you hand her the coat and boots, there is a pause from inside the changing room. “Where are my clothes?” She asks.

“They’re out here with me.” You reply matter-of-factly. “I didn’t ask you to model the clothes, you’ve been wearing them all day. I wanna see you in just the coat.”

You tense up, preparing yourself for a potential outburst of rage. Finally, she sighs. “Are you really gonna make me come out there in just a coat, boots, and underwear?”

“Well, the underwear’s optional…” You don’t expect a favorable response to that last remark, but after a moments of rustling, Claire tosses a black bra towards the chair where you’re sitting.

“I expect that back from you, asshole.”

“Of course,” you grin.
