A momentary reprieve

Alice was sweating and redfaced as she was guided to the lectern at the front of the class so she could present. She really struggled with her presentation, painfully aware of her nearly-exposed breasts. As she presented, when she wasn't shyly looking down at her presentation notes looked around the room to see if she could spot where her shirt or tank top had gone, but she was surprised and confused that she couldn't see them anywhere. After 10 embarrassing minutes of stuttering, losing her place and forgetting her lines, she finally finished, unable to locate her missing items.

"Alright Alice, not your best performance, but I suppose you did well enough for now, given the circumstances. Please return to your seat." Mrs. Sylvia expressed with an exasperated sigh. Alice made her way back to her seat, arms crossed over her chest. She looked around again for her missing items before pouting and sitting down, consciously aware that she was tenuously in arms reach of all her bullies. Devon winked at her and behind her, Rachel smirked. "Ms. Chloe, you're up next please." Mrs. Sylvia called out.

"Yes Ma'am. I have a powerpoint to present. Do you mind if I turn out the lights?" She asked sweetly. Mrs. Sylvia nodded

"Yes!" Alice thought to herself. Foolishly she was happy the lights were off as darkness filled the room. It meant that people wouldn't really be able to see her state of slight undress, so she relaxed a little bit. What she forgot is that not only could she likewise have difficulty seeing others, as focusing on the powerpoint prevented her eyes from adjusting to the darkness... she forgot it meant those not paying attention would be able to affect her without being seen as well.

The bullies around her knew this. Why else would Chloe plan her powerpoint to be "all quiet on the western front", which she knew to be the teachers favorite? So in the darkness, they waited, and planned their next move.
