A magical wedgie with a worse follow-up

Beneath the protective veil of Raven's blue cloak, a pair of white gloves had appeared and grabbed hold of the back of her panties. As if being momentarily groped by a villainous, washed-up magician wasn't bad enough, the hands each grabbed hold of a part of her underwear and pulled upward strongly, creating a powerful wedgie that caused her knees to clap together and her teeth to clench. Her robe fluttered upward for a moment with the gesture, allowing the assembled citizens of Jump City to see the panties flossing her unusually gray, but attractively shaped, backside.

Robin watched in confusion, not understanding the situation but catching on that something had gone wrong. "Cut it out, Mumbo. I don't know all your tricks- and clearly neither do our city penitentiary guards, considering how often you break out- but I know this magic act has gone on long enough. Put your hands where i can see them!" He raised his birdarang, finally intending to heed Raven's desparate plea from earlier.

The magician did just that... it didn't seem like there was a chance for him to grab that utility belt any longer. When he brought his hands out, each held a different item. In the left: his magic wand, the source of all of Mumbo's powers. In his right: some unknown object, made of black-dyed cotton and sporting some scrunched-up cartoon image on its fabric.

"Oh great, another trick..." Robin growled audibly, unsure whether he should take the obvious answer and hit Mumbo's wand, depriving him of his magic, or the unidentified new rag he'd pulled from his hat. Furthemore, he had to consider that they hadn't found the stolen money yet. If he hit the wand and then the villain clammed up about the money, they really would be in trouble... the kind that a batarang can't solve.

It was times like these that Raven's magic would come in handy. The magician's hammerspace hat ought to be no match for her abilities... a pocket dimension like that was nothing to her. So why wasn't she acting?!

Raven stood still on the street next to Robin, shifting uncomfortably on both feet and clutching her robe tightly between her legs. When she spotted Robin looking, she refixed her eyes on Mumbo, trying (and failing) to make it appear as though nothing was suspicious. Several of the spectators had pulled out cameras to try and flash a pic of Raven from behind... and not for the usual hero worship reasons.

Mumbo thought he glimpsed an opportunity-!

But he was wrong! The Titans' leader released his birdarang with a ruthless flick of his wrist, knocking the wand free from Mumbo's hand and sending it spinning down a nearby alley. "Aw, nuts..." The magician's blue coloration and magic powers left him, turning him into just an elderly man raising his hands in the street and holding some panties.

Robin hoped he had made the right choice. "They say a magician never reveals his secrets... but you're no magician any more, Mumbo. Tell me where the money is!" The leader of the Titans wasn't keen on threatening a defenseless old man, but still, he left his bike and approached with one raised finger. "Raven, support!" Robin stopped in place, then crossed both arms irritably. "Raven?"

The girl snapped to attention with a look of shock, then shook the hood of her cape. "Um, you've got this, Robin. Go Robin. Get that old guy..." Despite her deadpan jokes, it was clear something was bothering her. The way she was holding her robe tight like that made her seem just as suspicious as Mumbo... In reality, she knew that a stray wind could expose her bare bottom to the open air.

Even deprived of his wand, Mumbo's mind raced to find a way out of this predicament. He wasn't just a magician... he was an escape artist! Could he find a way out of this sure-defeat situation?
