Past Mistakes?
A lot of them
About two years ago you were on a mission. An old man, who's troubled past came back to haunt him asked for your help. His wife had been assassinated for his past deeds and his daughter stolen from him; whoever had a vendetta with this man wanted him to suffer. He had a very little amount of money but eventually his begging and pleading got to you, and you accepted the mission. You tracked his daughter down to a small building which seemed similar to a castle surrounded by dead trees and a murky sky. This lead you to a confrontation with the man they call Erigor, You not only fought him but nearly half his guild, his scythe cutting one particular scar across your torso. In the mist of battle Erigor offered an Ultimatum.
"Your strong! stronger then me and you took out all of my boys" He said floating upon a whirlwind while he held the girl dangerously close to his scythe. You stood there, blood seeping from your wound. "Join my guild and devote your entire being to me, swear your loyalty and I'll let the girl go!" He smiled sadistically as he spoke, thinking you'd give up that easily. You thought you were fast enough, you usually were but not before the ground was soaked with an innocents blood. You both escaped that day, you with a gash across your chest and him with a slash down his face. If it weren't for the numerous amount of dark wizards you could have taken him out.
That was your first failed mission, And you had to watch an old man cry. But before you left him to his sorrow he tried his hardest to place a wooden flute in your hands urging you to take, you looked at the glowing eyes upon its skull...before turning your back on the entire situation.
The train stops
