A little of all 3

Gina drops onto the bed putting her eye level with you. You try to guess her thoughts because her face is blank almost as if you had kicked her in the stomach as opposed to declaring your love openly to her. It takes a minute to sink in and the tension in the air is palpable. Then her expression changes to an almost accusatory look, eyes squinted, and in a low voice she says:

“You what, you love me? Do you think you can just come in here after everything we’ve done together, the long nights of fucking each other raw and just lay that on the line?”

You’re the one wearing the kicked in the stomach face now, but you master your shock and respond:

“I thought that would make you happy, I want to be yours, Gina. I can’t possibly see how those 3 words could upset you at this point in our relationship.”

While you were speaking you had made a circuit of the room almost afraid to look Gina in the face after her initial reaction. You are back to where you started now and look to her hoping you haven’t unknowingly embarrassed yourself. Gina is sporting the biggest grin her face could possibly produce.

“I love you too Steve, my perfect little man. I had you going, for a second you thought I was about to tear into you, huh? Well I am just in a different way, now c’mere you.”
