A kiss

You step towards her, slowly. So close now that you can make out the blushing that begins to form on her face from your proximity. She takes a small breath and begins to shy away, but you place a steadying hand on her own.

Bringing it up to your lips, you place a chaste kiss upon her hand, and she quickly turns around to face you again, her blush deepening.

Slowly, you lower her hand and raise your gaze towards hers, catching her eyes and firing a thankful smile towards her.

"That's all the payment I need."

The smile you receive in response fills the pit of your stomach with a content, tingling feeling.
