Chapter 4 by Zingiber Zingiber

Well? Is There?!

A kiss for luck

"So...?" Michelle asked, standing idly in her towel, holding the roses Matt had sent with me. "Is there anything else?"

"Um." I said, the kiss from this morning's dream swirling in my head, Michelle in the doorway in front of me. "Uh, best wishes," I fumbled out.

"Oh, come on," Michelle said. "Step in for a second." She pulled me through the door and let it close solidly. "That's not the way to give me your best wishes. How about a lucky kiss. Like this," she said.

Michelle reached up and wrapped her arms around me, pulling my face to hers. Her arms were hot and damp from the shower. A thorn scratched my shoulder and the soft petals tickled my ear. She pressed her lips to mine in a firm, warm kiss.

I shivered and let out a little moan. My arms circled around Michelle. The breath from our nostrils mingled, her breath deep and strong, mine shallow and ragged. She broke the kiss and leaned back, one hand taking my elbow to loosen my hold round her.

Michelle giggled. "You know your face is totally red?" she said. "Even your ears?" Her eyes flashed down to the front of your pants, which were definitely too tight right now.

"Well," I said. "But at least you know I'm sincere. Um. Well, the roses are actually from Matt. He didn't want to, you know, start the day with an unlucky gesture."

"Hey, that reminds me," Michelle says. "You know, there's another thing for luck that you could help me with."

"What...what's that?" I asked. Michelle's towel seemed to be slipping.

How can you help Michelle get lucky?
