A jungle world

Lauren was in a dense field of trees. Huge, larger then any on earth, or any other planet she'd ever seen. The ground was covered in dense foliage. Huge vines hung down. It was a tropical world, or at least this part of it was. She could hear distant cries of exotic animals.

well, the first thing she had to do was get to high ground, so she could see her way around. Then she could look for any signs of civilization, or wait to be rescued.

She had a few options. She could pick a direction and walk. They all seemed the same, for no sunlight was apparent through the dense jungle. Or, she could try to climb using the vines and branches, to get to the canopy of the forest. There were so many vines it wouldn't be that difficult, she hoped.
