A good night's use

Kara had been lying in bed, always less energetic when night fell, when someone knocked at her bedroom door. She was just sitting up when he pushed the door open.

She squinted to recognise him. Oh, right, it was the guy that lived next door. He’d used her a few times; women weren’t allowed to leave their doors locked in case there might be men that needed to use them.

“Can’t sleep,” he muttered. Being one of her more regular rapists, he sometimes gave a couple of words of explanations. Kara nodded, sighing a little.

Just as she’d been drifting off too… she pushed the sheets off herself as he approached, baring her nude body.

There was never any point in getting dressed to sleep. Odds were good at least one person would be waking her up in the morning.
