Michelle furiously typed at her computer as me and the two naked ladies beside me waited. Her angry glare told me that whatever was going on, it was bad. I had never seen Michelle mad before, and now I was sure that I didn't want to again.
"I can't believe this," Michelle whispered. "Most of the applicants for the female program were sent official notices to strip! This was supposed to be a slow process to help the campus acclimate to the change."
"What about the guys?" Tracy asked.
"No, they all have the notices to wait. Jack here was the winner," Michelle said, gesturing to me. "But for some reason, the girls' all had a small glitch."
"Okay, well, that's not so bad," I said. "It's just a small glitch. I'm sure it won't bother those girls, or the program heads."
"Plus you get to see a bunch of nude women around the campus, right? I see right through you," Tracy teased.
"I'd say it's a good day all around," Vernoica agreed. She and Tracy laughed and high-fived each other.
Michelle suddenly stood up, becoming very serious. "It's not that simple! The Program here was supposed to be a trend-setter for other locations around the country. Other colleges, businesses, tourist locations, government buildings...this whole thing is meant to show that this kind of lifestyle is healthy for the country. Do you know how many protests we had when this was being debated? We still have students here angry at us for this!"
"Why would they care about this?" Veronica asked. "The laws say adults can do whatever they want in public with each other."
"Prohibition was a law at some point too," I pointed out. "Doesn't mean people are going to like it."
"Shit," Veronica said in defeat. "He's got a point."
"Well, how many girls got the go-ahead to go nudist?" Tracy asked.
"It could take a while for the program to find all of them, but if I were to guess..." Michelle looked at the screen. Her eyes filled with despair as she rested her head on the desk. "Fifty."
The three of us shared uncomfortable looks between each other. "Fifty? Included Veronica and Tracy?" I asked.
"Yup," Michelle says. "So, that's you two and 48 other girls thinking they're the only ones in this program."
Michelle massaged her temples in frustration. "When word gets out about this, the press is going to have a field day. The program directors are gonna be so pissed!"
