Suzy and Emma didn't talk much once they got back to the car. Emma was rambling about some party she had been to recently and the guy she had hooked up with there, but Suzy was barely paying any attention to what she was saying. She was too distracted by what had just happened back there, and even more so by what had nearly happened but didn't.
This hadn't been the first time that someone like Emma had put her in a situation like that. It had happened far too often, the way she saw it. That didn't mean that there were no highlights from those days, though. Sometimes she actually enjoyed the 'attention' for what it was actually worth (not a lot). It was always horribly embarrassing, and more than a little frustrating, but... maybe it wasn't all that bad.
Suzy allowed her mind to wander as Emma drove the both of them back home, the bumpy road only reminding her of times gone by.
