A few weeks later

Bobby and Amber admit their longtime crushes on the other on a double date with you and Karen the Friday after the big party. Bobby and you would prefer to be alone with your respective dates but the girls wanted the other around as a safety factor. This first joint date goes great and you see less and less of Bobby and Amber as time goes on. Amber is quick to recover from her experience in the woods and soon has an active sex life with Bobby. Amber gets pregnant when a condom breaks around the time of the Thanksgiving Holiday. You have got as far with Karen as you both being naked and preforming mutual oral sex. Karen still has some issues from her experience in the woods, especially from being tied up. You both are also devoting more time to your studies and work with hopes of qualifying for scholarships.

Your cousin Ben passes through Green River City a week before Christmas with his new girlfriend. They are on their way to meet her parents which are about a fifteen hour drive away. Ben hasn't seen you, your mom, or your uncle since summer. You mask your surprise when you see Ben's girlfriend is Staci and realize she remembers you as well. After dinner with your family and Karen, you and Staci get a moment alone and she catches you up on things from the night of the party.

She tells you that Cindy has a big belly from the triplets that a black Johnson College basketball player gave her two weeks before the famous party. She tells you she saw Maddie three days earlier and that Maddie isn't pregnant from the night of the party. Maddie is going to move in with her cousin Cindy and go to Smalltown High School after the Christmas break. Maddie was picked up by the cops a week after the party- totally drunk. She has been in a detox program as she drank to cope with the affects of her abusive mother. It is hoped that enrolling in a new school (Smalltown and Woocottville are a consolidated district) and living with her only family (Cindy), combined with continued therapy will help Maddy recover from a bad start at life.
