A few days later

Over the next few days you and Jill have sex regularly. Thanks to your last mind manipulation of her, she begs you to leave your seed inside her pussy every time. Soon your dream of having a family with your childhood friend will be fulfilled.
Another wonderful thing that happens is Bill losing his job. He will finally no longer be passing on his dirty tools to the next colleague.
And now, at the start of this week, you are promoted to foreman. With this you not only gain an increase in responsibility, but also an increase in wage. You do have to work in a different shift, but you are fine with that.

You arrive at your new office half an hour earlier than usual and are greeted by an old man. The current foreman for this shift, the one you are replacing. He will soon be going on retirement so you are taking over the reins just in time.
He first allows you to get acquainted with the spreadsheets. In the past these were never of much use to you, but now they are going to help you measure the productivity of the workers under you. After that he introduces you to the men and women that will be working under your supervision.

As a foreman you will have 6 landing platforms you are responsible for. That means you’ve got 4 teams of refuelers, each of them a 2-person team. 3 teams of logistics employees, which are 4-person teams. Then there are also the mechanics, 4 of them. You know them well, for you used to be one of them. Many a shift change you accepted a toolbelt from them. Those people work solitary, though sometimes they make use of the 2 astromech droids. That means you have a total of 24 people you are responsible for. Not counting the astromech droids of course.
Since it is the start of their shift, all of them have gathered. The old foreman announces your promotion to them. Introduction is not really necessary, because you’ve seen every one of them at some point already. About half of them are humans, but there are a few non humans among them as well. There are a Bothan, a Quarren and even a Wookie. But those who stand out most of all are the women. Only two of them there are. A human woman amongst the logistics workers and a Lepi amongst the mechanics.
The Lepi is someone you know all too well. In the past you have taken over shifts from her and she has taken over from you. She is not like Bill at all. She only rarely ever passed dirty tools to you and when she did it is always because she didn’t have time to clean them and she always apologized over it.

After the announcement, the shift starts and everybody goes back to work. You and the old foreman head back into the office where you suddenly see a Pantoran woman.
“Afternoon, Saani. How are you?” The old foreman asks.
“I’m good, old boss.” The Pantoran woman says. “Is this the new boss?”
He pats you on the shoulder and says, “Indeed he is. Max, this is Saani Kenzee. She’s going to be your secretary. Basically, when a new customer comes in, flight control tells them which landing pad to go to and then makes a call to Saani. She also takes payment from them and does a whole bunch more paperwork.”
You’ve always known the foremen have a secretary of sort to help them out, but as a mechanic you never had to come to the foreman’s office so you’ve never seen. To think your mind control powers put you in a place where you have a lovely blue-skinned secretary to use them on. One with lovely long pink hair no less. But that will be something for later.

After about two weeks later, the old foreman deems you are ready and finally goes on retirement. The lot of you celebrate this with a little party. Thanks to your new wage you are able to buy some snacks for all the colleagues to enjoy. It isn’t much but they really appreciated the gesture. Probably more so since it is the last week day.

Unfortunately, when one of the colleagues is checking the holonews on his datapad, he discovers imperial sympathizers performed a terrorist attack on Corellia as protest against the new republic. A bombing which happened … at the neighborhood you live in.
You apologize to your colleagues and rush homeward. Was your home hit? Was Jill there? She is stills searching for a job and it is late, so she could be? Or maybe some other place got hit?
