A few days later....

On a quiet Friday afternoon at Riverdale High, Veronica Lodge sat impatiently in her seat as the teacher wrapped up his lecture. She was not happy. Since school opened, Archie Andrews hardly paid any attention to her, and for some reason, Betty seemed too busy to be spending time with her. As she sulked, her mind wandered to last summer. Her trip in Europe was an eye-opening one. She closed her eyes as she remembered Jean-Paul and the many times they fucked their brains out while they were together. Veronica had met him a naive American girl and she left France an experienced, hungry woman. With her experiences, she had planned to wrap Archie around her fingers but something went wrong and her charms didn't seem to be working as well since she came back.

As the bell rung, signalling dismissal, she walked towards her locker to grab her things before she left home. Funny, she thought, as she realized Betty wasn't around. Her locker was right next to hers, and they usually met up before they'd go home. Probably doing some after school work again, Veronica thought, not realizing what had happened between her best friend and Archie weeks earlier. For some reason, maybe because of all the thinking she did, she took longer than usual to fix things up in her locker. As she closed it and started walking out, she went past the school newspaper room and heard voices inside. Quietly, she tiptoed and pressed her ear against the side. She could hear grunting and moaning.

"Ahhh...oh fuck me..."

"Unghhh...Unnghh"

Someone was having sex inside! Curious, she waited and listened in, the voices were strangely familiar, but she couldn't quite place it yet.

"Here it comes Bets!"

"Oh Archie...oooohhh"

"Unnnggghhh"

It couldn't be, she thought, as she listened it again, but it was! It was Archie and Betty! Veronica was shocked. This explained everything! No wonder she was being ignored. The two must've spent all their time together because they were fucking each other! Veronica was enraged. She never realized Betty would do anything like this. She always was the nice girl next door. Apparently, she was wrong. Quietly, she stepped away from the door, and quickly walked to the limo waiting outside for her. She had some planning to do. It was time to up the ante.
