A dark elf

She was a dark elf. A type of elf that had adapted to life under the ground. They usually ended up being either proficient magic wielders.

Usually they would come to the surface and hunt food or raid villages. But now, a war going on, they could hire themselves out as mercenary's. This was a good way of collecting wealth, so it wasn't uncommon to see the more often during times of strife.

Like all elves, the dark elves had pointy ears and lived very long lives. Unlike other elves, dark elves always had white hair and dark skin. Their genetics simply didn't support anything different.
