A curious student

Just as Marian was about to make her final rounds of the evening, she was approached by a student. She looked at him and he seemed like any other student in the school.

"Hello, how may I help you?", she asked him in her normal sweet voice. The students seemed to love it. He came closer.

"I'm looking for a book, Blinded by the Glow, could you help me find it?" he asked. Blinded by the Glow... She remembered it was some sort of historical narrative, and where to find it. He probably needed it for some work. She nodded at him and beckoned for him to follow her.

She walked across the library to where she knew she would find it. The location was quite isolated from the rest of the library, and entirely out of sight, but Marian had always felt comfortable everywhere in the library. However, something happened when she arrived.
