A corrective changes followed by a surprise

"Professor does your invention can help poor Dimitri here. He lost his eyes while he was a mercenary in Afghanistan." Said the older man behind the heavy desk pointing at Dimitri and explaining why he had the scary scar.

"Of course, this is why the machine was built. Let me scan Dimitri here." Said Robert finding, at last, some confidence in the situation. He took the small computer and began scanning the old mercenary.

"Now all you have to do is pinpoint what you want to change and the technology work on the reality level not on the biological." Explained Robert pressing some button

"And now all you have to do is confirm the changes." Ended the scientist.

"Before you press to confirm, can you change a person on the mental level, because poor Dimitri lived with PTSD?" Asked the boss and Dimitri looked at him puzzled.

"Yes, we can treat the illness of the mind too." Said Robert entering some data

"This is weird the machine doesn't detect the PTSD. Could be a defect of the machine. I will have to look into it." Said Robert.

"No no no, let start with healing poor Dimitri." Said the older man. He didn't want to push his luck with other lies. Robert presses some buttons and confirms the change he had put in the algorithm of the machine. Suddenly, Dimitri seems to phase out for a moment and the next everything was normal and his eye was back in its socket and the scar was nowhere to be seen.

"This quite impressive. I must admit that. Now if you don't mind I want to look more closely at the machine." Said the older man and Robert gave him the machine. The man began to look more closely at some menu and options in the machine and began pressing some buttons. Robert tried to look at what the man was doing but he couldn't see well enough.

"Now Dimitri I will do another change on you if you don't mind." Said the man with a dark tone

"No problem boss, you gave me back my eyes, but can I ask what change you will do." Said Dimitri

"Oh no! This is a surprise." Said the boss pressing the confirm button
