A challenge comes forth

Emerging from the foliage was tall, dark-haired man clad in banded mail. He didn't have any identifying symbols on his shield or armor, but he quickly burnished a greatsword.

"I challenge you, fighter," the tall man said, pointing his sword at Janno.

For a moment, Janno was too shocked to respond. He and his group were traveling to Creekside. They were almost to their destination and suddenly this guy emerges from nowhere and challenges him?

"I challenge you," the man went on. "A battle to the **** or mercy for all of your booty."

"You want to fight me to the **** to grab my money?" Janno said, looking on in disbelief. The fighter quickly gathered himself and cast glances about. The man appeared to be alone. That made things even more confusing. Why was he coming out and single-handedly coming after a group. Was he trying to take them one at a time? Janno failed to see the reasoning.

"I am Biggram the Hard One," the man introduced himself. "I don't need your money. All I care about is increasing my harem! I callenge you to a fight to claim your women."

Now, Janno wasn't sure to be more shocked or to roll his eyes. He viewed his comrades as women to be put into a harem. He quickly looked over at his comrades. Sure enough, Caroline was gripping her sword so tight, Janno wondered if she might squeeze the hilt off the blade. Trista looked shocked, Gloria was outraged and Elektra had a hand up to her mouth and a stunned expression.

"In case you haven't noticed," Janno said in a deprecating manner. "These aren't just women, they are my adventuring comrades. That one over there," he added, pointing to Caroline, "is also a fighter if you can notice her chain mail and sword. The others are skilled in magic, so I think you're biting off more than you can chew, Biggo-whatever-your-name is."

"It is they who will be doing the chewing," Biggram said confidently. "On my hard-on tonight."

This time, Janno did roll his eyes. This man was beyond belief. He was challenging him in front of the entire group to a fight to grab the women. Even if Biggram won the fight, did he really think the women would go peacefully.

Before he could respond, Caroline spoke first. "Insolent dog! I will split you in two on my blade. Why don't you fight me if you are so daring!"

"Nay, why doesn't he fight all of us," Gloria said. "We will give him a lesson in humility he'll he never forget."

Biggram ignored them. "Does your women not have manners? You let them speak for you. Are you that cowardly as to hide behind their cunts?"

Janno turned bright red at this. First, he got insulted. Second, this guy really was taking this men-over-women philosophy WAY too far. Janno was thinking he would like nothing better than to beat this guy down. But, he knew that Caroline was feeling the same way and even the rest of the women, judging from their angry expressions on their faces at Biggram's last comment. Even Elektra by now looked as if she was getting ready to cast a spell.

"Enough talk!" Biggram cried. "Do you accept my challenge or do I gather these women and take them with me to my manor by default?"
