A bit of everything

"I'm still a little new at this..." Erica confides with a laugh. "...so maybe if we could try out a little bit of everything?"

The shop girl beams, looking delighted. "Sure thing. Oh, by the way, I'm Beth. Nice to meet you."

Erica smiles back, clearly getting along with the goth-appearing young woman already. "Erica. Nice to meet you too."

The two shake hands and Beth shows you to a room in the back of the shop, then leaves to get the 'little bit of everything' Erica requested.

You realize as she leaves that neither Beth nor Erica thought that it was worth making introductions with you. You feel like the shopkeeper was treating you like Erica's inferior rather than her partner...and she made no move to correct that impression.

The room you both step into seems ordinary enough, though two beds and a wide sturdy looking table take up most of it.

You wonder briefly if you should try saying anything to Erica while you wait for Beth to return.
